About
The .45 Super Ammo is a smokeless powder center fire metallic cartridge that is considered powerful. It was designed and developed in 1988 in the United States. Dimensionally, it is similar to the .45 ACP Ammo, but it has a thicker wall and is loaded to create higher pressures. These changes offer an average of 300 feet per second improvement in the muzzle velocity over the .45 ACP Ammo. Because of the limitation presented by the .45 ACP Ammo, there was a strong need to replace this cartridge with something that delivers a better power and penetration with low recoil and precise accuracy. That's where the .45 Super Ammo came in. The overall length of the .45 Super Ammo is 32.4mm, and the bullet diameter measures 11.5mm. The lightest variant of the .45 Super Ammo is a 185-grain bullet load that can travel at a velocity of 1,300 feet per second and creates an energy level of 694 ft.lbf.
Manufacturer
The .45 Super Ammo was based on the design of the .45 ACP Ammo and was co-created by Tom Fergerson and Ace Hindman in 1988.
Uses
The .45 Super Ammo provides decent power and penetrating capabilities that allow the hunters to hunt medium-sized games such as the deer family easily.
