What ammo can I shoot in my M1?
I was told I have to shoot M2 Ball ammo in my garand. Why can't I shoot other ammo?

The M1 was designed around M2 Ball ammo. Current ammo has too much pressure and can bend your op-rod. To shoot new ammo, you need to get an adjustable gas plug that lets you bleed off excess gas.
