Multiple failures to fire

Something is wrong with my GSG522SD. When I pull the trigger slowly, the gun doesn't fire. The hammer drops and everything but it doesn't even have a dent in the primer. I know there's a magazine safety but even with a magazine in, it doesn't always hit the primer. What's wrong with it and how do I fix it?
