Does this gun have a safety?
All of my other guns have some kind of safety but I can't find one on the mosin. Is there one?

technically yes. with the bolt closed, pull the back bit of the bolt and rotate counter-clockwise and it'll lock itself on the receiver and give you a dead trigger and lock the bolt handle in place.
