Buttpad question

Noah, the butt pad has very little recoil absorbing properties. It is designed for a nonslip shoulder seal more than recoil reduction. The "Semi-Auto" Action absorbs a bit of the recoil just fine.

It actually works as both, Noah. It will definitely help absorb some of the recoil and it will provide a 'tackier' surface when shouldering the weapon. Primarily though, it serves as a recoil absorber. It is somewhat pliable = not 'hard plastic'.
