I LOVE this gun, I own the RPR308 and have more fun shooting the RPR22WMR. great price for all you get,, it truly is a tack driver,,find the right ammo that works best with yours and the groups are very tight, Ruger hit it out of the the park with all of the RPRsrnNH Billygoat
I ordered the Ruger Precision Rifle 338LAP 26" 5+1 MLOK and three days later it was at my FFL dealer's. It is a serious looking rifle! It is rather heavy, but shooting prone and having a bipod solves that. The muzzle suppressor is pretty massive. It does great taming the recoil, and the heavy barrel is also a plus in helping. Two mags came with the rifle, and I ordered one from Ruger for about $65.00. The rifle has a very smooth action. The stock has several places for quick detach swivels. So Far so good...have not had a chance to shoot it yet but i am VERY HAPPY to finally have one of these after waiting what seems like forever for more of these to be available.
Overall the gun is what I expected and wanted. The one problem out of the box was that the safety did not operate (frozen in the fire position). Unfortunately you can't take the gun apart to inspect it unless the the safety is in the safe position. Contacted Ruger and they will take care of it. This would be unnecessary if Ruger would test fire the gun before it leaves the factory. ...more
I'm so excited to play with my new toy. Arrived on time in pristine condition!
Buds was great yet again. Easy process ordering online and getting it shipped to FFL. This gun gets 5 stars with only two negatives. First off. I have never had so much shooting a gun. I’ve tried a few different rounds which it seems to shoot pretty well with. I’ve gotten the best grouping out of CCI Velocitor so far. Very accurate. I do wish there was a way to change out the buttstock. The one on it isn’t bad but it could be a lot better. I’m sure this would have increased the price a lot so not a huge deal. There is a lot, like a lot, of complaints about the hand guard being put on crooked. Mine was very crooked as well. To whoever is putting these on. Cmon man. It’s not a big deal. Doesn’t effect the shooting at all. Everything I read is it’s an easy fix. Just feel it’s a fix everyone is dealing with. This has nothing to do with buds though. Paired with a Vortex Crossfire II 2x7 I give it five stars for just all around fun and accuracy. Looks very cool as well. ...more

this is a recent manufacture rifle so it would be the latest version. I am sure there will be improvements/upgrades coming down the pike on this due to the popularity of this rifle

Length of pull
Hi Alice, It will be cutting it close. The overall length collapsed and extended is 35.13" - 38.63". Length of pull range from collapsed to extended is 12" - 15.50". I think you'll be fine since the recoil isn't that bad on this.
