This is the first firearm I purchased from Bud's and it did not disappoint. The Ameriglo CAP sights are awesome and make it easier for my aging eyes to acquire the target. The sight has tritium so it even glows in total darkness. The gun...well, it is a Glock 23 Gen 3...nuff said. Magazines were easy to load (except for that last 13th rd) but I bought a Butler UP LULA loader and even that last bullet feeds easily. Now that they have been broken in, I can manage to load the last round even by hand. Gun shoots pretty accurate for a shorter barrel (compared to the Glock 22), but I liked the smaller, compact frame on the Glock 23. There is enough pinky space to prevent this from being a two-finger salute and I like that (ala Glock 27). It has never had a FTF, FTE, etc. It eats whatever I feed it and I like that kind of reliability. If I weren't a Glock fan before this gun, I certainly am one now. I would trust this gun with my life (and do). ...more

The A meriglo sights are amazing, bright yellow, very easy to see during the day or at night. The Glock 23 itslf is an outtsnading carry pistol, smaller than the Glock 22, and bigger than the Glock 27, so it's a perfect size for holstering. As for shooting, it could benefit from a 3.5 lb trigger connector for a lgihter trigger pull, and it could use an extended mag release and slide lock. Other than that, it's good to go right out of the box. Highly recommeded as a carry gun. ...more
