One of the best, if not. This gun is amazing. Smooth ride, through thousands of shells. Feels, looks & shoots like an exotic piece of equipment.... Except it's not even trying. It's a treasure just as much as a fire arm. If you are researching & this is in your budget, go ahead & enjooy your self and indulge. Best AR I've ever owned. I'm a toolmaker by trade and I spent 9 years in the Army (OIF 2/3). I've played with a lot of weapons and Daniel Defense is hands down the nicest I've shot. As a toolmaker I can appreciate certain aspects that others might not notice. I can tell you that there quality control is on point. Their attention to detail is amazing. I looked this rifle over with a fine tooth comb and I couldn't find one flaw. Everything they do on the rifle and the parts make sense. They stake the right parts and use nothing but quality components all made in house. They're on the pricey side for an AR but you get what you pay for. I would like to see a piston version upper by DD. After owning a Scar 16 I got spoiled. Super easy to clean. ...more
Beautiful rifle. I was a bit nervous that there wasn't a picture but I trusted the stock number match to their website and it was the model I expected. It shoots so well. Can't wait to put more rounds down range with this great AR.
Hands down my favorite AR. Dress it out with DD Irons and the grip panels, and you're good to go! Always the first gun I grab to go shoot, and the first one people ask if they can squeeze out a few rounds. Would highly recommend to anyone! Only downside in my DD Foregrip messed up (cosmetically) the finish on the bottom of the rail. Have had mine about a year now and would buy again 100 times over! ...more
