This is my first bolt action rifle, my first Remington. And I got to say, this rifle is amazing for its price and caliber. As big as the bullets are for a 300 Win Mag, the recoil is pretty decent. And the scope of the image comes with the rifle! I was shocked to see it to come with it. After buying rounds I also got the Magpul Hunter 700. The conversion was easy and the rifle looks so much better. Get this rifle people, it’s well worth it ...more

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I bought the 700 ADL in the 6.5 Creed scope package combo wanting a lightweight mule deer package. I replaced the cheap scope, base and rings, and installed a Weaver 20 Moa base, Luepold rings, and a Vortex Diamondback 4-12×40. I tried 4 different brands of ammo, and all shot around MOA or less at 100 yds. My best group was .65 with Winchester Deer Seaon XP 125 grain. Per the Vortex manual I zeroed in at 100 yards. With a little fine tuning with torque on the forearm screw I was able to hit 12" steel plates at 200, 300,400, and 500 yards with ease. Everything matched up great today, weather conditions, and ammo matched hashmarks on the BDC reticle. This allowed me to just focus on the target and squeeze. I'm hoping this transfers to a successful mule deer hunt in two weeks. The best part is, the entire set up cost less than $750 with Tax and ammo. ...more
Great hunting rifle one of the better values comes with a 4x12x 40 scope no name cheap ring but will get you shooting rem did go cheap on the packaging for sure no scope box lol gun is front heavy and long for walking but great for setting up in a calling in game. good ammo make is sub mod 1 inch at 140yds using Hornady ammo ...more
Great rifle
Great rifle for the money, I dont think anything could beat it for the price. The rifle itself is good, the scope and rings are cheap. The only thing I could find a flaw in is the mag. It's a little difficult to load cartridges in, if they aren't loaded perfectly they get tangled up. Rifle is very accurate. More than my built Ar10 in 308. ...more
