Best 300 Blackout Rifles

The .300 BLK (.300 Blackout / .300 AAC BLK) was designed in 2009 with the intention of delivering a heavy-hitting sub-sonic round that can easily be suppressed.  Its design includes a cut-down .223 brass case that is re-formed to accept the projectile from a .308 Winchester while the overall length is maintained at 2.26 inches allowing it to fit inside a standard AR15.  This makes it so that only the barrel needs to be changed in order to use .300 Blackout rounds; you can often use standard magazines.
The .300 Blackout has a much shorter effective range of 400 yards when compared to the 5.56, though it has far more energy.  This makes it an excellent short-range hunting round, and deer hunters are slowly but surely making the shift away from the venerable .30-30 lever actions in favor of a semi-auto or bolt-action .300 Blackout.
