Gun Descriptions

The Browning® Browning BAR Mark III features a gas-operated system with a multi-lug rotary bolt, capable of cycling standard or magnum cartridges reliably in extreme conditions. The bolt locks directly into the barrel, giving it incredible strength, while providing exceptional accuracy, and a buffering mechanism reduces wear and stress on the rifle's receiver for longer life and greater reliability. BAR barrels are hammer-forged for outstanding strength and precise accuracy, and the trigger pull breaks like a glass rod. The crossbolt safety offers easy accessibility without removing your firing hand from the stock, so you can quickly manipulate the safety, without losing your sight picture or cheek weld. The Browning BAR Mark III Semi-Auto Rifle comes with an beautiful, checkered Turkish walnut buttstock and forend, and the buttstock features an Inflex™ recoil pad to mitigate felt recoil for enhanced comfort and reduced fatigue. The alloy receiver features scroll engraving and comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts. A hinged floorplate provides rapid access to the detachable magazine. The rugged and reliable Browning BAR Mark III Semi-Auto Rifle provides the firepower to bring down any big game species in North America.

The M1 Garand has been called “The greatest battle implement ever devised” by General George S. Patton and is one of the most iconic American firearms. Adopted in 1936, the M1 Garand became the standard infantry rifle for the US military through World War II, the Korean War, and even served in Vietnam. It was produced by multiple companies throughout its years of service with almost five and a half million units produced before being replaced by the M14 in 1958. Its production was only eclipsed by one other American rifle, the M1 Carbine, by about one half of a million units. After its replacement by the M14, the US’ stockpile of M1 Garands were sent to allied countries or was surplussed to the civilian market. Today, all surplus M1 Garands are under private ownership or are used as ceremonial rifles by military and police units and VFW organizations. Due to its semi-automatic action, heavy caliber and quick reloading time, the M1 Garand is used today by civilians for hunting, target shooting, and even in competitions. Thanks to its reputation as an excellent service rifle, the M1 Garand is a highly regarded collectible.
